Congratulations!!!!!!!

Sarah Gladd, past ELA Seminar teacher and current 8th Grade Science teacher, has passed the National Board Certification with a focus on ELA Early Adolescents.

As well, our Striving Readers/ELD teacher, Jessica Guy, has also been informed that she has passed the National Board Certification with a focus on Early Adolescent through Young Adulthood/English as a New Language: English Language Development Specialist. Congratulations to both for a job well done in receiving this most prestigious accolade.

Estimados Padres/Tutores: Al acercarse las Vacaciones de Primavera, el Departamento de Policía de San Diego nos pide que les recordemos a ustedes que la Ciudad de San Diego tiene reglamentos de toque de queda para los menores de 18 años de edad. El toque de queda tiene vigencia todos los días de la semana de las 10:00 p.m. a las 6:00 a.m. del siguiente día. Hay muy algunas excepciones al reglamento de toque de queda, los cuales son: si el menor de edad viaja hacia o de regreso del trabajo; si el menor acude a una escuela oficial; actividades religiosas o recreativas supervisadas por adultos; o si el menor se encuentra en una situación de emergencia. Para la seguridad y bienestar de ellos, les rogamos que les recuerden a sus hijos que acaten el reglamento de toque de queda. Le agradecemos y le deseamos unas vacaciones de primavera seguras.
