Family Success Center:

The Family Success Center will begin providing services on February 5, 2007 at 8:00 am. With the Grand Opening to be held on February 28th, 2007 at 5pm. This event will be an opportunity for parents of Montgomery students to visit the new Center and learn about the resources and services available. Approximately 100 parents, students and community stakeholders from the Linda Vista area are anticipated to attend and we will be providing food and beverages for the evening. Child care is also provided.

Linda Vista Youth Action Team:

The Linda Vista Youth Action Team is a locale comittee formed to promote a thriving Linda Vista neighborhood by teaming resources and learners to foster a whole community development. The central project of the Action Team has been to create a resource center at Montgomery Middle School to improve parental involvement and student achievement. This news resource center, named the "Montgomery Middle School Family Success Center" is a collaborative effort by many local organizations, agencies, non-profit organizations, and the County of San Diego. The desired outcomes are; improved school success, increased exposure to career and educational opportunities, improved access to health services, and decreased youth involvement in "at risk" activities.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 - 10:00 am & 2:00 - 7:00 pm

Wednesday: 7:00 am to 10:00 am & 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Saturday: 7:00 am to 12:00 pm
