The Parent Institue is a collaborative effort between Montgomery Middle School, The Linda Vista Youth Action Commitee and Bayside Community Center and is provided for parents in the community to come together and learn an array of skills on how to deal with student education, college enrollment, read important schoolwide data and build motivation. Free refreshments and child care are provided during all meetings and parents will graduate with a certificate of completion for attending the course.

There will be 9 sessions total starting on January 24th, 2007 and going until March 21st 2007.

On Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:30am is a Spanish only session. Later in the evening from 6:00 - 7:30pm, a tri-lingual session will be available with classes in Spanish, English and Vietnasmese.
